The Hypoallergenic Little Dog from Cuba!

D Dog Fan | January 14th, 2008

The Havanese is not only adorable, but it is also a hypoallergenic dog. So few dogs which are of the furrier type can be said to be hypoallergenic. Anyone suffering from allergies and asthma, can still have a puppy, since the Havanese is a small dog breed that will not make you reach for the tissues and the antihisthamine tablets!! And if you think you have heard it all, it also doesn’t shed, so this is the ideal dog breed!

  1. aww like the cutest thing ever ^^

  2. this dog is so cute but do not train well

  3. That is one cute havanese dog. I did not know that they were hypoallergenic. Thanks for the info.

  4. Designer dog breeds are so sick to me… Every time someone buys a dog from a breeder, a dog at a shelter loses a chance at life. If someone MUST have a hypoallergenic dog, trying finding one from a rescue group- there are different rescue groups for all sorts of breeds, just Google it. But I maintain that when it’s possible for you to adopt from a shelter – it it usually is – you should. Plus, mutts tend to have fewer inbred health issues, and they’re just as cute as this little fake-lookin’ fella :)

  5. It sounds like a GREAT idea to adopt from a shelter. But ALL of them require me to fence in my yard, and want to interview my family a couple of times – oh and then have check up visits and…

Give me a break! These snooty people are the problem here and will end up seeing these poor dogs dead with their arrogance.

PS. Calling a Havanese a designer dog breed and stating that it sickens you pretty much tells me you should go work for one of those shelters who sounds good but doesn’t place dogs. Or maybe you already do.

  6. If you can’t find something nice to say don’t say anything at all. There is no reason for you to lash out at a puppy. Why don’t you use your energy for actually helping out the shelter dogs instead of lashing out on the internet.
